Our Story
Built to do home care differently.
Linden Healthcare began with a simple belief. Families in Cambridge deserved home care that felt calm, considered, and genuinely personal. Too often we saw the opposite. Rushed visits. Rotating carers. Call centres that never quite knew the story.
So we built Linden to be the provider we would want for our own parents. Independent, not franchised. Senior led, not call centre led. Quietly particular about every carer we hire and every care plan we write. We answer the phone ourselves. We visit every home ourselves. And we match every carer ourselves.
Cambridge shaped us, and we exist to care for Cambridge in return.

Our Philosophy

Person-centred care is not a phrase we print on a brochure and forget. It is how we write every care plan. We start with the person. Their history, their habits, the chair they like to sit in, the radio station they wake up to, the tea they expect at four. Then we build the care around that. Not the other way round. The result is care that feels like help from someone who actually knows the family, because that is exactly what it is.

We hire differently, because care is different.
The most important person in any care plan is the carer standing at your door. That is why we hire slowly, train thoroughly, and retain carefully. We would rather turn down 20 applicants than place the wrong one.

Every carer holds an enhanced DBS check and full right to work verification.

Full Induction
Every carer completes the Care Certificate, moving and handling, medication, and dementia modules.

Regular refreshers, specialist modules, and clear progression routes through NVQ Diploma levels.
